The news of Nokia’s Ovi store launch was everywhere. All blogs covered the news about Nokia’s attempt to get a Mobile application marketplace after AppStore’s succcess. Today, I have some of the Best apps on Ovi store. Though there are not many, I have got the list of top ten.

Most apps and games are not Freeware. However, in this list I have 5 Free apps and 5 Paid apps.

We’ll start with the Free apps.

1. Qik

Qik is the famous Video service that lets users broadcast and watch videos online. The Qik app on Ovi store lets users broadcast videos right from the phone and share it on different networks like Twitter. Visit Page

Funambol is a sync service that allows your to keep your data updated across all devices. The Funambol application on Ovi store lets you Backup and Restore your Contacts, Calendar, Tasks and Notes with just a push of a button. Visit Page

3. SearchMe

Search Me is a search engine (I know Google rulz). Search Me however, has a different approach to web search. It displays thumbnails on websites with the search term in a horizontal corousal so you can flick through them and select the website you want to go to. It feels just like going through an album. 4. UpCode

UpCode is the most innovative app of all. It allows users to take a snap of specific kinds of barcodes and reads the information stored in them! Visit Page

5. Nokia Handwriting Calculator

Nokia Handwriting Calculator lets you scribble Math on your Nokia phone and it computes the answers for you. Just write an equation and get the nswer to it in a jiffy. This is a “must have” app. Visit Page

7. IM+ For Skype

8. Concise Oxford English Dict

As the name suggests, this is a handy Pocket dictionary that lets you lookup for meanings of words without surfing through the bulky dictionary. Price: € 25.00 - Visit Page
