Twitter has brought several creative web apps right from statistical URL shortners to Image sharing and file sharing services to Voicemail over twitter. And now we have TweetMyMac. TweetMyMac is an application for your Mac that lets you tweet to your Mac and get tasks done like Taking screenshots and tweeting them to you, taking pictures from your iSight cam and tweeting them to you, or shutting down, rebooting and logging off your Mac using tweets. It can also check your Mac’s IP address, open/quit apps and start/stop torrents from downloading.
So in short, you can now control you Mac via tweets!
Here are the commands you need to tweet to your Mac’s twitter account to get things done:

| logout | Logout of your Mac. Will NOT save any open files. |

| ip | Get your Mac's external IP address. Your Mac will reply with it's current IP. |
| isight | Snap an image from your Mac's iSight camera. Your Mac will reply with the picture posted on TwitPic. |
| screenshot | Get a screenshot of your Mac. Your Mac will reply with the picture posted on TwitPic. |
| torrent [torrent URL] | Your Mac will download the torrent and open it in the default torrent client. |
| open [App] | Tweet the Application name to open it |
| quit [App] | Tweet the Application name to close it |
| [URL] | Your Mac will open any URL it is sent. |
| %[command] | Your Mac will execute the custom shell command. |
